Bootstang Update - finally! 

It’s a pain in the ass but I’m currently in between houses which subsequently means I’m also in between workshops. So everything has become a little bit slower for now. Today however I decided to make use of a family members garage and set up on whatever I could to get the first of the pickup cavities chiselled out. 

There is a good chance I broke every woodworking rule in the book when it comes to using a chisel doing this, but I was adamant to get it done. Due to being a little bit under tooled right now, the edges are a tad messy looking and I will clean it all up, even if it’s for my own satisfaction as there will be a scratchplate covering it all anyways.

Now onto the bridge cavity!

I’ll be cutting out a small cavity between neck and bridge pickups to run the wiring as, not only do I not have a drill bit long enough, I’m still trying to do this all with hand tools.
