Lawsuit 70’s Les Paul Rebuild Update. 

1 - Orignal Condition

2 - Sanding and Steel Wool taking back as much of the damaged top coat as possible without cutting through to the colour coat. 

3 - After one session of cutting and polishing, one or two more sessions to go.

4 - Erm, buckle rash? Way past buffing out.

5 - The remaining paint literally chipped off so after a light sanding I went with a mix of Mahogany and Jarah stain and have made two passes so far with Danish Oil. 

Time to start sourcing some hardware, and a neck…
