Remember that it can take years of practice, if not a lifetime to master one thing. Trying to master everything you might want to, sometimes anything, in say a weekend, will only lead to frustration, which will lead to bad choices, which will lead to mistakes, which will lead back to frustration and ultimately to giving up. There is no time limit to learning in life, except for the limits you yourself dictate. Indeed, this relates to guitar work, but also it’s a nice thing to keep in mind no matter what you might be undertaking in life. Remember to breathe, allow for mistakes, and write them down every damn time. Every mistake if you can recall it, is a step towards never making it again.
