Let the breakdown commence. Picked up a cheeky 2006 Squier “special” Standard Tele (with so called ltd ed matching headstock and mirror pickguard) yesterday. Before getting onto other jobs, it’s got to be pulled apart and have the paint removed. Sound wise, it’s pretty mellow - neck pickup sounds like you are hearing it through a wall while it’s being played in another room, middle pos is actually rather nice and the bridge is trying so so hard to sound like a telecaster but just can’t quite get there.
