It’s just gone past 5pm, which means I’ve put in a 12 hour day on this thing today. I’m wrecked, hands are shot and dude, it’s worth it. At this stage the Bobkat has been stripped, retrofitted parts removed and routes filled, massive cavities/damage is patched up (timber used where possible), grain filled and almost sanded flat. It’s a long way to go but I have a little habit at the end of the day, of putting as many parts for the guitar together as I can, helps keep the goal in sight. Tomorrow, in between hunting for a tattoo artist to do a Daruma Doll on my arm, I’m off to get a lesson on spray painting from a family friend who runs an auto body repair shop. Pretty pumped.
