First (partial) mock up of this guitar since I started the project a couple of weeks ago. Just finished roughing out the pickguard and needed to see if it was going to suit. Pretty pumped with how it’s turning out. So far what started out as a stock VM Squier Jaguar has had

*hand rubbed stain walnut burst
*hand rubbed Daish Oil finish
*Western Cedar pickguard (hand cut w/dremel)
*Full refret on MIJ Fender neck

Next in line I’m cutting a block of brass down for the nut, finding some new tuners, deciding on a bridge (a mastery would be ace, but $$$!) and possibly sourcing some vintage jaguar pickups.
