I’ve been lucky enough to be blessed with some (numerous) very talented friends here in Brisbane. Some of them happen to play in bands, and one of those bands is Golden Age of Ballooning. They have just dropped a new single, and the guitar work isn’t the only wonderful thing on the track, but it is up there! If you are all about classic song writing, and incredibly tasteful guitar solos, give it a listen. Every time I listen to this, I picture myself driving along a wonderfully deserted road, surrounded by trees, on a cold morning, and just taking in the scenery. I’m really digging the track, and thought some of you might be into it also. Little bit of Elliot Smith meets Ryan Adams here in my humble opinion.
